The YRE for National Operators course provides practical guidance for implementing the YRE programme at the national level. It helps National Operators empower young people to investigate environmental issues, propose solutions, and communicate their findings through journalism.
This course covers the YRE structure, methodology, media production, competition management, and impact evaluation ensuring effective, high-quality delivery aligned with FEE's global standards and alignment with the Greening Education Partnership.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
Understand the YRE framework and its alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Plan and manage YRE activities within a national context.
Support educators and students in producing impactful environmental reports.
Coordinate national competitions and submissions to the international YRE programme.
Evaluate and communicate the outcomes and impact of YRE projects effectively.

In this course you will learn how to conduct control visits on a Blue Flag awarded beach, tourism boat or marina.

This course is designed for third-party auditors from certification bodies that would like to become certified auditors for the Green Key programme.
By completion of the course, you are allowed to conduct on-site audits in Green Key establishments that are not located in a country with a national Green Key office. The course will take 3-4 hours to complete.

The course is meant as a detailed introduction to the Blue Flag programme.
It provides a reference regarding the fundamentals of the Blue Flag programme, familiarises the user with the Blue Flag criteria, showcases the functionalities of the Blue Flag PODIO database system, and introduces National Operators to Blue Flag processes, such as the International Evaluation, National Control Visits and NOMs.

The course will give you all the necessary information and tools to run the Learning About Forests (LEAF) programme effectively on a national level and as part of a global network. It is a requirement for all new LEAF National Operators to complete this course and it is also highly recommended for current National Operators.
